The names of candidates who are offered provisional admission into the Benue State University, Markudi (BSUM), undergraduate programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session have been released.

We are using this platform to inform the general public and most especially all those who applied for admission into Benue State University for the 2020/2021 academic session that admissions into undergraduate programmes as approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have been released.

All candidates who applied for admission into BSU can now proceed to check their admission status;

How to Check BSU Admission List

1. Go to the college’s portal: https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/checkAdmission.jsp
2. Enter your JAMB RegNo in the space provided
3. Click on the ‘Submit’ button to view your admission status.

Note: Aspirants are to confirm their admission status on the BSU portal by paying a non-refundable Admission Verification fee of four hundred Naira (N400.00) only using the e-payment platform (https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/payments/).

For Admitted Candidates

Admitted Candidates should visit JAMB CAPS official website to either “Accept” or “Reject” the admission offer before proceeding with the payment of the acceptance fee.

Candidates who have successfully accepted their admission offer should proceed to upload the following documents for online screening:

• Original academic qualifications
• Original JAMB Result slip with embossed passport photograph
• Original Direct Entry Online e-registration printout with embossed passport photograph
• Certificate of State Origin

Successfully screened candidates should return to the Benue State University (BSU) portal and print out admission letters and proceed to pay the appropriate user charges for the courses admitted.

Candidates who have paid the appropriate user charges should wait for further directives from the University.

Candidates are to note that checking of admission status, acceptance of admission, uploading of documents for on-line screening, and payment of user charges on the University Portal shall take place from Monday, 28th September to Thursday 15th October 2020.
