Registrar of the university, Mr Amos Mallo, in a statement in Bokkos, urged the students to comply immediately.
“Ahead of the suspension of the ongoing strike by ASUU, Plateau State University Bokkos, has commenced registration for newly admitted and returning students.
“Accordingly, the registration which commences Dec. 8, will end on Dec. 31, 2020,” Mallo said.
The registrar advised all the students to adhere strictly to COVID-19 safety protocols approved by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control to avoid any consequence.
He also urged the students to strictly abide by the instructions approved on the institution’s online platforms, for registration procedures and payment of acceptance and tuition fees.
He called on all the newly admitted students to visit the upgraded University Health Centre for medical examinations and documentation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the institution was closed since March, in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
The university reopened last week on the directive of Gov. Simon Lalong, to all the state’s tertiary institutions.
