The University of Nigeria Nsukka management has begun the fumigation of students hostels ahead of resumption.
Recall that the University Senate at her 404th sitting approved the resumption of school; January 18 for Post Graduates and January 25 for Undergraduates.
Fumigation of hostels is currently going on at the University’s various hostels in line with NCDC guidelines on schools resumption. However, some hostels which are currently in use as accommodation for the Post UTME candidates are not being fumigated currently due to health reasons. The hostels are:
• Awolowo Hall
• Aja Nwachukwu Hostel
Bello Hostel
•Eyo-Ita Hostel and
•Mary Slessor Hostel.
Recall that the University began her Post UTME on January 18 and already into Day 3.
Students of the University of Nigeria Nsukka who reside in the hostel are strongly advised not to resume before 25th January, in order not to inhale the chemicals used in the fumigation process as it may pose a serious health danger.
