The long wait is finally over, and the much anticipated date for resumption of classes, for the students of Federal Polytechnic Oko Anambra State, has been announced. Remember that many tertiary institutions in Nigeria, have been closed since March, 2020 by the directive of the Federal government, in the bid to curb the spread of Corona virus pandemic in the country. Since then, many Nigerian students have been at home, with itchy ears, waiting with so much anxiety, for the day they will be called back to school, to complete the 2019/2020 academic session.
Some tertiary institution across the country have resumed after the Federal Ministry of Education, gave the approval for schools to reopen, and the lastest school to join the queue is Federal Polytechnic Oko. The polytechnic will officially resume classes for its students, on Monday 19th October 2020.
This information was confirmed by the Timetable that was released by the school. According to the timetable, classes are expected to resume on Monday 19th October, and the students have only two weeks to complete their clearances and prepare for examinations.

The examinations will begin on 2nd November 2020, and end on 1st December. The second semester of the 2019/2020 will begin immediately on 2nd December 2020 and the second semester as well as the session will be concluded on 15th March 2021. This timetable was signed by the Director of Academic Planning, Mr Uche Onyegbu.
So if know any student of Federal Polytechnic Oko, tell them to dust their books, pack their bags, because all things being equal, the school is officially resuming on next week Monday. Inform them, that it is time to go back to school.
