The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board recently signed an agreement with the National identity management commission. With this agreement, the examination board entered a partnership with the commission, which will make all prospective Unified Tertiary matriculation Examination candidates have their application linked to their National Identity Number.

Candidates that are to sit for next year’s unified tertiary matriculation examination, will have their application linked to their National identity number.

Prospective Unified tertiary matriculation examination candidates in 2021, are advised to take advantage of the free time they have now to get their National identity number to avoid last-minute rushing and substantial denial to register for the examination.

National identity number wasn’t used in 2020 Unified tertiary examination exercise, due to some technical complications that have been taken care of by National identify management commission.

The Commission now possess the capability and capacity to capture all prospective candidates, as the federal government recently licensed 203 agents, who are due to commence work from next week, immediately after the Christmas and boxing day celebrations.
