Sequel to the directives of the Benue State Task Force on Covid-19 regarding the resumption of academic activities for second term of 2020/2021 session; the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar hereby directs all schools in the state to re-open on 18th January, 2021 for commencement of academic activities for the 2nd term.

The Honourable commissioner wishes all Teachers and Students a prosperous New Year.
Recall that the new wave Covid-19 is deadlier and the Benue state government has already placed ban on larg gatherings , picnics and people attending functions must adhere to all guildelines.
Since assumption of office in 2015,Governor Samuel Ortom has given premium to educational development ,he has constructed and upgrade over 4000 schools both primary and secondary schools to grade A standard ,a feat no administration has attained in Benue state .
